Thursday, March 11, 2010, P.F. Changs, 2300 Village, Fallen Timbers
|
On March 11th we are taking our first visit to P.F. Changs for their specialty Chinese delights. There is something for everyone on the menu with the hundred plus selections of Mandarin, Szechwan and Hunan. Talk about comfort food – we all agree it must be so as we love to share an evening together with our single friends at this award winning restaurant. Meet me there! |

Thursday, April 08, 2010, Mancy's Italian, 5453 Monroe St. |
No matter how often one dines at Mancy’s, it is never enough. Serving regional Italian food in a rustic setting, Mancy’s is one of the all time favorites for Toledo area diners. One of our favorites is the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. Absolutely the best! For lighthearted banter and conversation with your Single friends, this is the place to be on a Wednesday evening.

Thursday, April 22, 2010, Red Lobster, 1422 Reynolds Rd. |
What a wonderful choice, to close our Dining Out for 2010 at Red Lobster. We love the comfy, casual décor of this popular restaurant. Even more, we cannot get enough of the fantastic seafood that they are so famous for. Wouldn’t it be special if everyone who joined us in 2009 would come to this event? |

| Thursday, May 13, 2010, Shorty's Bar-B-Que, 5111 Monroe St. |
The Mancy family has been in the restaurant business for many years and we all agree, know just how to please Toledo diners. Shorty’s is no exception with the authentic real pit Bar B Q flavor packed into every bite. We recommend the lean and tasty pulled pork smoked to perfection. Feeling spicy tonight? Shorty’s is the place for you. |

Thursday, May 27, 2010, Abuelo's, 3415 Briarfield |
Singles, we have dined at Abuelo’s in the past and enjoyed it thoroughly. The menu provides the standard Mexican specials – soup, salads, dips and platters. The Chile con Queso dip is very famous and everyone should be tempted to try it. The prices are moderate with specials for seniors. Let’s gather tonight where we are cozy with Great friends. |
| Thursday, June 10, Webbers, 6339 Edgewater, Point Place |
Isn’t it a comfort that with all the changes in our city, some places can always be counted on to be there for us? Webber’s is that type of restaurant. This waterfront dining experience is unique in our area and the seafood, steak, chicken and other scrumptious items top off the evening. This can be the perfect warm June evening to take the stress out of our busy day and give us the chance to share and enjoy our single dining friends |

| Thursday, June 24, 2010, Shuckers Restaurant, 14260 Airport, Swanton |
None, however, can compare to the clam chowder at Shucker's Seafood & Pasta in Swanton, billed on the menu as "the best chowder you'll ever eat." They're not kidding: Fat clams vying for room in a silky textured broth - not thick, not thin, and flavored with spices, potatoes, bacon, and big, digestible clams that don't bounce off the uvula. There may be formidable contenders out there, but based on my peregrinations, Shucker's holds the No. 1 spot.
